Presence and the Present Moment
google "living in the moment buddhism and existentialism"
Living in the moment in Buddhism and existentialism emphasizes engaging directly with the present, as the past is gone and the future is uncertain. While Buddhism focuses on mindfulness to end suffering caused by craving, existentialism centers on creating meaning through freedom and choice in a chaotic world. Both reject dwelling on the past or future to live authentically.
google "living in the moment advaita and existentialism"
Living in the moment is a central tenet in both Advaita Vedanta and Existentialism, though they arrive at this focus from different philosophical motivations: Advaita seeks to transcend the ego-driven illusion of time (Maya) to realize absolute, eternal consciousness, while Existentialism emphasizes that only the present moment exists for a subject to define their essence through action and freedom.
We have to club together perspectives of existentialism, Buddhism & Advaita to understand what Living in the Presence/Moment meant to Sushant. Sushant wanted to attain Shivataa by living in the moment & transcending self & end sufferings or the matrix of blues🎶 of the starworld🌌 (= celebrityworld).
The essence of life as per existentialism is living in the presence with happiness.
“…the greatest wisdom consists in enjoying the present and making this enjoyment the goal of life, because the present is all that is real and everything else merely imaginary. But you could just as well call this mode of life the greatest folly; for that which in a moment ceases to exist, which vanishes completely as a dream, cannot be worth any serious effort.” ~ Arthur Schopenhauer, Existentialist
Yes. Life is a dream 2, and then wake up as Shiva🔱 once enlightened💥. Everything is Shivaleela!
Of course Sushant had a goal or vision of life or he knew 'why' to live.

'why' is also mentioned in the following post of Sushant.
Living in the Presence/ moment is living in flow. google "‘Passion’ is overrated, ‘presence’, underrated."
"Passion is overrated, presence underrated" is a profound, often-quoted phrase (originally posted by actor Sushant Singh Rajput in 2019) that emphasizes mindfulness and immediate action over intense, fleeting emotions. It suggests that being fully focused, authentic, and present in the moment is more sustainable and impactful for success than relying solely on passionate, but inconsistent, energy.

Goodmorning ❤️🙏 pic.twitter.com/ve8CPCt6qk
The above two tweets & two instagram posts indicate Sushant wish to live in the present moment. He knew perfection will be achieved in next iteration of the evolutionary story cycle. Still he was enjoying the bliss of living in the presence.
"Investing time in very excitive way gives you perfection." ~SSR ~Sushant Army ~SumitaBasuRoy2 ~quotesofssr
Sushant knew that as long as he was enjoying the excitement of living in the presence & continue to work #TillIgetITRight the story will reach perfection one or the other day. Perfection means #Poornataa or #Shivataa🔱 and suerhero #BurningMan🔥🧑 or #Shiva🔱🕉️ emerges from the perfectly told story.
The principle of Yin and Yang from Chinese philosophy is that all things exist as inseparable and contradictory opposites. Examples of Yin-Yang opposite forces are female-male, dark-light, and old-young. The pairs of equal opposites both attract and complement each other. Similarly, in his ardhanarishvara form, #Shiva🔱 (Purusha) achieves perfection through his complementary form #Shakti🔱 (Prakrti). These are complementary states achieving #completeness or #perfection by clubbing with each other. In simple words, #completeness or #perfection is achieved by merging together two complementary states.
Why did he change from cricket🏏 to archery🏹 or martial arts🥋? Did you notice his blue🎶 dress in the first post and then keeping arrows on pink❤️ cloth in the next post. There is a possibility that Sushant achieved #perfection/#poornataa/#completeness by changing from one profession to another complementary profession. Sushant is saying that though he is practicing cricket🏏 he needs to achieve perfection now by changing his profession to archery🏹 or martial arts🥋 to create #superhero #BurningMan🔥🧑 aka #Shiva🔱 to act against #Orion😈!
Does it mean that Sushant had all 'passion' for his 'present' acting profession (alternately, acting as a part of social action) but wanted to take up the profession of #BurningMan🔥🧑 'next' by living in the presence like Shiva🔱?
Is there any connection to this post?
It's not about perfection, it's about efforts.
And when you bring that effort every single day,
That's where transformation happens.
That's how change occurs. ~SSR 2
Sushant
is also hoping his passion would drive his #story to perfection through
#repetitions. He was focusing more on his current efforts by living in the presence. A perfectly encoded #story could be perfectly decoded by
someone and #superhero #BurningMan🔥🧑 will emerge to change🦋 the world.
Sushant firmly believed that by being passionate, putting enough effort & changing professions transformation or change🦋 can happen.
In the following instagram & mindhack posts of Sushant 'presence' not just means 'being there' or 'existence' but also means living in the presence. Sushant had quoted 'I am not lost, I am very much alive' 2, an existentialism statement. Sushant had found his life values and living as per them by living in the presence.
Being in the moment: Heidegger, a famous existential writer, wrote a book translated as “mindfulness”. He talks about Being, living in the moment, ...
Sushant was slightly worried that nobody is meditating & understanding his story. He is worried that people are not learning chords of his songs/dreams. People are not understanding धुन/dhun of #BurningMan🔥🧑 aka Shiva within him. He is disheartened that his 'passion' is overrated but ‘presence’ among his fans is underrated as they are not resonating to his Guitar Chords.
Still with full passion & hope Sushant is improving the narrations so that someone will decode it finally.

Here is what the Master🧑🏻🏫 told about living in the presence.
Excitement of Living In Presence https://t.co/QB7jQP5Slc
— Jaadoo👽 @Indian Institute of Dreams, #SSRFilmCity (@alienjaadoo) November 4, 2023
SSR: "When you're completely immersed in an experience there is no You, no Time!"
SK: ...And no prejudice, no perception. Its pure experience, where u and the experience are one. Like a drop falling in the Ocean become the Ocean."
So, living in the presence means just experiencing happenings with full engrossment without thinking. Only conscious experience beyond cartesian body & mind. The consciousness beyond prejudice & perception is called Shiva🔱 or Purusha. And Shiva🔱 or Purusha lives in the presence. This is the state of flow and this is the state needed for Rise of a Super Man.
Why is Sushant mentioning 'no Time' is explained in the following discussion,
SK: Time like a train on a station whooshing by u... Imagine yourself on the train now watching yourself whoosh by... Time is merely perspective!
SSR: Is the method by which 'I' is created which is same as the creation ('I') itself, the perception of psychological 'time'?
SK: There are no 'moments' of time. Time is an eternal constant from which the mind snatches moments, like snapshots, to create linearity/memory.
This is same as the notion of Advaita Vedanta on time.
Now is the only reality.
The mind creates an illusion of continuity,
making it easy to get caught up in a personal story.
In truth, you are not only living in the present,
You are the Presence itself,
timeless Awareness
in between the moments of time.
Advaita & Non-Duality | One Timeless Now
Time does not exist outside of our minds, and it is the same, by implication, with the concept of the 'present'.
Also note that Sushant was following nonlinear storytelling technique hence linearity is not applicable to his story.
Check also the interpretation of the song "In The End - Linkin Park" given in the following link,
For sushant, meaning of life was to live in the presence with intoxication💫 & bliss (or excitement & happiness or flow state) and love (love for our mothers & children). This can be metaphorically compared with achieving the state of asti bhati priya.
"Don't Brood. Get on with living and loving. You don't have forever. " ~SSR ~dhar_moushumi

But I’m not deciding to play a biopic of a guy who plays badminton. I’m not trying to be a badminton player either. But I’m still playing badminton and I’ll play well. That much seriousness I have in my life. We all are acting constantly. Acting is not lying, acting is compensating for excitement.
Sushant Singh Rajput: The Everyday Superstar
"The thing about success is that once you reach where you want to, you could become immune to it and then wonder what next. If this is what success is, then I don’t want to be successful. I want to enjoy my life, 365 days a year."
Sushant Singh Rajput: People are attracted to your success, not you
Sushant wanted to enjoy his life, 365 days a year by being in continuous excited state of flow.
When I count, it doesn’t count.

This is ‘why’ I think what I believe could be right:
Hard work is NOT the competence to have the skill of Working ‘more’ number of hours but working smart (Real efficiency); ~SSR ~nonayousef7 2
Though the video shows physical exercises, Sushant is actually doing mental/ thinking exercises. He is living in the presence with excitement & in full flow (check Rise of a Super Man (Stoicism, Flow)). In this state number of hours does not matter. The state of flow means working smartly with full efficiency.
Here is other forms of the above quote.

Sushant was deriving excitement & happiness by participating in IronMan Triathlon to combat humantrafficking in the starworld🌌 (= celebrityworld). In this state, it didn't matter to him how long he is spending his time on training for this Triathlon as he was living in presence without counting time.
When I count,
it doesn’t count.

The song I’m a Man !! by Black Strobe is explained in the following post.
Sushant's Favourite Music & Songs
I think people generally are lost, as they keep thinking about what is going to happen and what they have done. They are not alive anymore. The art of listening is missing. In their head, they are doing something else. ~SSR ~quotesofssr ~WritingWithSush 3
Sushant's complain is that, though people read his posts the moment he posts them, they are not understanding them by concentrating properly. They are lost in the past & the future without properly focusing on reading work they are doing now.
When you do something that interests you so much, you don't care about anything. Don't care about what people have to say. Don't care about what's going to happen because you're there in the moment enjoying what you want. ~SSR ~storypick ~sushantquotes
Sushant was enjoying what he wanted to do by living in the presence with excitement.
"Time in memory is not flowing, so our eternity & death both reside there. When we let memories to live in the movement of present time, it's just eternal & one can never die for what is death if not just in our thoughts of our fear." ~SSR ~quotesofssr
By the way, living in the presence does not mean that one should forget past completely. Memories of past are important. Sweet memories are always enjoyable to brood over.
Memories that are far more precious than any desire... ~SSR ~AllThingsSSR ~sushanehal4747 ~Ashu31stDec ~nonayousef7
Memories means the biopic story Sushant wanted to narrate to himself as interpreted in instagram#29 Picture of my memory .... The biopic story or his mission was far more important than fulfilling his desire or his vision. Working/acting for the goal/vision was more enjoyable than reaching the goal as indicated in the quote "journey is far more enjoyable than the destination" 2. Sushant was living in the presence with excitement & happiness writing his life memories or his story without bothering about success or failure of his mission.
