Neurotic Imposter

The Neurotic Imposter — 'The Dangers of Feeling Like a Fake'

In many walks of life—and business is no exception—there are high achievers who believe that they are complete fakes.

Neurotic impostors, however, are seldom benign in their perfectionism. They are “absolute” perfectionists, who set excessively high, unrealistic goals and then experience self-defeating thoughts and behaviors when they can't reach those goals.

The Dangers of Feeling Like a Fake

Neurotic Impostor is a feeling that you have not achieved anything in spite of having name, fame and everything. This is also a kind of existentialist crisis 2.

I have measured out my life with coffee spoons... ~TS Eliot 2 ~SSR ~nonayousef7

Here measuring with coffee spoons means Sushant did not think what he achieved is a quantitatively or qualitatively fulfilling life.

A stubborn imposter. My fervent attempts to become a supposedly better Me all the time. Time to Stop... Hell Yeah..! ~SSR ~AryakavyaA ~nonayousef7

Neurotic Imposter may also mean, in the context of dreams & other posts, Sushant is writing something to mean two different things. The meaning depends upon #context, #interpretations, #perceptions & #waysofseeing #knownknowns, #knownunknowns etc. In other words, he is pretending or acting as something but in reality the act means something else. For example, 4-clap pushup is for building cores, back & legs of his story namely #SSRDreamStory to create superhero #BurningMan🔥🧑. But this meaning we will not use in the detailed discussions below.

'Comfortably Numb' that is how you describe yourself - what is it about your life today that you don't wanna feel!

Yes, 'comfortably numb' and 'neurotic impostor' are the two terms that completely define me. It's funny how one day I actually sat down and was trying to define who I'm and by the evening I wrote comfortably numb borrowed from Pink Floyd and came up with a new term neurotic impostor (only to find later that it is actually a disorder). Comfortably numb because I'm largely immune to any external feedback, events & circumstances. I am having a nice waltz with my passion and there is no room for any third one. Neurotic Impostor because everything I do or even, think have been done and thought by some or the other one in the past. The realisation helps me not to take myself seriously and just concentrate on waltz. ~SSR ~itsirum_

"Neurotic Impostor because everything I do or even, think have been done and thought by some or the other one in the past." - Even this means Sushant was not contended with his achievements so far. And he wants to do something really different & useful to the world.

"The realisation helps me not to take myself seriously and just concentrate on waltz." - Sushant wanted to do his karma or duty without worrying about success & failure.

A stubborn imposter. My fervent attempts to become a supposedly better Me all the time. Time to Stop... Hell Yeah..! ~SSR ~nonayousef7

The character Clamence of The Fall by Albert Camus also suffers from an existential crisis almost similar to neurotic impostor.

I was partly unlearning what I had never learned and yet knew so well: I mean, how to live. ~Albert Camus book The Fall ~SSR ~nonayousef7

Clamence thought everything in world is absurd, lived whole life in search of honour, recognition, and power over others, ended up in mental agony and was finding out a way to come out of it.

"Touch The Sky" T-shirt

"Touch The Sky" is a phrase sounding similar to "Neurotic Impostor".

The meaning given below has similarities with Neurotic Impostor.

Touch The Sky Meaning

Being successful is not bad but sometimes we our not contented for what we have. If you are tensed up by this kind of feeling then you should surrender yourself to God. “I touch the sky when my knees hit the ground” symbolizes this kind of surrender to the God.

''LIFE IS A JOKE'' means wasted life & energy on frivolous stuff and actions without any contribution to society or any cause. A feeling similar to Neurotic Impostor.

"unberable lightness"

Sushant's Favourite Arts & Paintings

Sushant in spite of having everything in life was feeling futility of his achievements, this feel of lightness made him to lift the burden of  saving our mothers & children from pedophiles & sextraffickers of the starworld (= celebrityworld).

Here is a tweet of Sushant sounding similar to Neurotic Impostor & Touch The Sky.

मंसूर gets his place in the chopper 🚁 = ready to fly through blues🎶?

🦋❤️🙏🔱 = cordially welcome #Shiva🔱 generated through #ButterflyEffect?

👽🎶 = alien blues = alien sorrows = #humantrafficking👽 sorrows🎶?

Who is “The Man Who Sold The World”? Is Sushant considering himself? Why? Or is he referring to somebody else? Whether helicopter symbolizes anything else?

🎸💥 = musical collision/encounter so that #SSRWarriors understand his musical chords?

Did Sushant want to attain #Nirvana or #Shivataa🔱 or #poornataa☯︎ or enlightenment💥 for himself & #SSRWarriors🐆⚔️ through his guitar🎸 music so to create #BurningMan🔥🧑 aka #Shiva🔱🕉️ to change🦋 the starworld (= celebrityworld) and hence to overcome his #alien👽 sorrows🎶 of “The Man Who Sold The World”⁉️

The Man Who Sold the World (song)

If we check the lyrics of The Man Who Sold The World given above, we find that the man depicted in the song is feeling empty & dead more or less similar to Neurotic Impostor or Touch The Sky. The feeling is that of selling out everything & all companionship feelings for achieving self-centred goals.

Kafka Tamura is almost 15 years old and carries the weight of a terrible curse. .... He takes a bus out of the city, leaving everything behind and hoping to outrun his curse.

“If you remember me, I don’t care if everyone else forgets.”

The above narration looks similar to “The Man Who Sold The World”!

What is the curse? To disclose slavery matrix of blues🎶 to the world?

Or was he taking the burden of all sinners on himself? And sacrificing himself for their sins?

nothing x everything

This is what Sushant meant when he used the words Neurotic Impostor, Touch The Sky, The Man Who Sold The World!

Sushant was often talking about Maslow's Pyramid.

In spite of fulfilling all his needs as specified in Maslow's Pyramid, in spite of all achievements of fame & name Sushant was feeling emptiness. He expressed this through F*CK FAME T-shirt 2 3. He had reached stage of not caring for fame. He wanted to live at the top of Maslow's Pyramid with a meaningful goal (Übermensch as child - instagram#04 "From the sun did I learn this, ..." ) overcoming all his Neurotic Impostor, absurdity of existence 2 feelings. He wanted to achieve something good for all humankind. He wanted to move to top layer of Maslow's Pyramid by developing greatest piece of art to uplift many from the bottom of Maslow's Pyramid. (transformation stage of transformation economy 2). He choose #sextrafficking & #pedophilia as subjects for his master piece of arts. And then narrated his unique story Chanda Mama Door Ke as an Alternate Reality Game (ARG) with a goal to create an overman called superhero #BurningMan🔥🧑!

For more on Maslow's Pyramid read the following twitter thread.

Maslow's Pyramid is further explained in the post Maslow's Pyramid.

In spite of calling himself neurotic impostor, Sushant never wanted to be pretentious or phony.

"Instead of sounding pretentious, phony, or repetitive, I'd rather not speak." ~SSR ~quotesofssr 2 3 ~WritingWithSush 5
