Peter Principle is basically on employee's competence. But we can apply what is said above to the social system as well as Sushant's story.
Sushant was evolving his story, the story had to be narrated in a way that right audience can understand it. He had to narrate it in multiple ways so that audience can get some clues. But he was finding it difficult to adapt his story to new ways to provide clues. Hence there were chances of failure. A failure to change🦋 the social system of the starworld for good. Still he was continuously putting his best efforts without worrying about success or failure.
