Many people fail to distinguish between freemasonry & illuminati. Freemasons believe in God but movement is initiated because of religious persecution by proselytizing religions, they are passive. Whereas illuminati are aggressive rationalists. All I am saying is illuminati are aggressive rationalists because they may not even hesitate to insult christianity, its scripts & sacred symbols.
There is an argument that the word illuminati, used by QAnon, is also a double meaning word like space, climate etc (space = social space, climate = social climate). One means who enlighten the word against religious blind beliefs. Another one means powerful groups like mafia or OSF who run the world secretly. But these mafia elements are the one who want to hide the scientific knowledge reaching people hence can't be called illuminati.
QAnon members may be rationalists or christians who are trying to guide their followers to enlightenment through symbolic #storytelling & then conspiracy theories. But the question is why QAnon players used the words illuminati & freemason to mean evil people. This could be just because mafia or OSF rule the world secretly keeping themselves in background. Using illuminati & freemason to mean evil people seems to be because their main target was to attract superstitious christians as for these blind believers these words meant evil practitioners. But finally QAnonites wanted to set these people free from their ignorance & guide them towards enlightenment.
